Oversize Carbon Filter Canister

The AirPura C400 oversize 2 inch deep activated carbon canister is the core of its air filtration system. Filled with ample amount (12 lbs.) of activated carbon adsorbent, it guarantees exceptional rate of removal of chemical substances in high concentration and provides great level of protection from exposure to most chemicals and noxious odors including, but no limited to:

HEPA-Barrier Post Filter

Due to the oversize carbon filter canister and the AirPura C400's compact design, there is not enough room in the air filtration system for placement of the standard full-size HEPA filter. The single-layer HEPA-Barrier post filter is used instead to provide an adequate removal of household allergens and dust, such as.

• asbestos dust
• mold and plant spores
• pollen
• house dust mites and debris
• pet dander
• bird feather dust
• ash in tobacco smoke, wildfire smoke and, smoke from wood burning stove
• airborne pathogens: microbes, bacteria, germs

Polyester Pre-filter (Standard)

As the first stage of its air filtration system the AirPura C400 employs a polyester based pre-filter located behind the perforated metal mesh of air intake. Designed to trap large dust and dirt particulates, pre-filter helps protect inner filters from faster contamination and extend the main filters' lifetime.
Pre-filter can be conveniently vacuumed with a regular vacuum cleaner right through the metal grill of the air purifier's polluted air intake and replaced when it gets dirty or ruined, typically  every 12 to 18 months (under normal use and operation).

Non-Off-Gassing Gaskets

The non off-gassing top and bottom gaskets are used to create a tight seal of the filter compartment, preventing air leakage and enhancing the air filtration performance.

AirPura C400 is equipped with the 400 series powerful, yet energy efficient and extra quiet single piece integrated Motor/Fan.
An impressive air flow of 360 CFM delivered by a powerful motor/fan makes the AirPura C400 effective in purifying air in large areas up to 1012 sq. ft.
The 3 Speed Electronically Controlled Motor (ECM) makes easy to find the optimal speed and air cleaning performance in all situations.
The one-piece integrated Motor/Fan is perfectly factory balanced to guarantee smooth vibration and noise-free operation.
The compact motor/fan design requires minimal space which allows to accommodate larger, more efficient filters.
The electric motor and electric components placed in a separate chamber at the top deck of the unit are isolated from the filtered air preventing it from possible re-contamination.

AirPura C400 Power Supply Options

While the standard version of AirPura C400 is equipped with the motor and power cord for 120V/60Hz the North American electricity standard (USA, Canada, Mexico), the optional motor and the power cord for 220-240V/50Hz power supply are available for overseas customers at Extra cost.

AirPura C400 employs the 400 series barrel-like shaped compact, durable, impact resistant the all metal housing.
The baked-on thermoset powder coat forms durable scratch, scuff and stain resistant protective surface.
The appliance quality powder coating doesn't produce any toxic off-gassing and is totally chemically inert.
The available Black and White (standard) and Champagne (optional) colors give AirPura C400 a modern attractive appearance. 
The 360° polluted air intake at the lower section of the unit made of perforated metal grill improves the overall air purifier performance.
The 360° clean air outlet at the top section of the unit prevents floor dust and dirt from being recirculated and ensures even clean air distribution.
The use of rubber pads on the C400 bottom plate helps eliminate vibration and noise, while improving stability.

AirPura C400 Maintenance

The AirPura C400 air purifier is virtually maintenance free.
The simple maintenance is limited to the following:

• vacuum the pre-filter using a vacuum cleaner with a soft brush every few weeks (on average).
• replace the pre-filter when it gets dirty or ruined - typically every 12 to 18 months.
• replace the HEPA and Carbon filters according to a maintenance schedule or the filter condition.
• wipe off or vacuum dust from the air purifier housing -  when needed.

AirPura C400 air purifiers are shipped in the special durable triple-wall corrugated cardboard boxes with ample of padding materials and cushioning.
Such packaging provides excellent protection from possible damages in transit under most circumstances.
Nevertheless, it is strongly recommended to inspect the shipping box and the content for possible damages in transit upon arrival.
If upon arrival the unit is found to be Damaged or Defective, it will be promptly replaced with new one Free of Charge.
The problem with the unit has to be reported to the courier at a time of delivery and to our company's customer service without a delay to arrange a prompt replacement.
