  The 99.99% efficiency Super HEPA filter is available option instead of the standard 99.97% efficiency True HEPA filter for those who require even higher level of protection from exposure to sub-micron allergens and dust. AirPura V614 is the designated model number for AirPura V600 equipped with the optional Super HEPA filter.
  
  
• Carbon Filter Canister
  To achieve the main purpose of effective removal of VOCs and specific chemical substances, the AirPura V600 employs carbon filter canister filled with 18 lbs. of AirPura specialty VOC adsorbent. The blend of activated carbon with special additives (potassium iodide) is specially formulated to provide an enhanced adsorption of VOCs, ammonia, formaldehyde and most other specific chemicals, for which regular carbon doesn't have sufficient adsorption capacity.
  
  
• Pre-filter
  The AirPura V600 employs standard Polyester based pre-filter as the first stage of air filtration system. The 1-inch thick non woven Pre-filter plays an important role of trapping most large airborne particulates, including lint, hair, dirt and dust, while protecting fine True HEPA filter from quick contamination by those particles and extending its lifetime.
  Optional unbleached, Pesticide-free cotton pre-filter is available for concerned customers at Extra cost. (use Pre-filter pull-down menu to select)
  
  
• Germicidal UV Bulb (optional)
  The optional High-output Germicidal UV bulb is available in AirPura V600 for customers, who are looking for added superior level of protection from exposure to airborne pathogens: microbes, bacteria, germs, fungi, etc.
  
  
• Non Off-Gassing Felt Gaskets
  Following the AirPura chemically inert concept design, AirPura V600 employs non off-gassing top and bottom felt gaskets. Felt gaskets are used to pressure seal the filter compartment, which helps eliminate polluted air by-pass and improves the overall air purification performance.

AirPura V600 Power Unit

The AirPura powerful, yet energy efficient and quiet motorized backward impeller powers the AirPura V600 air purifier. Rated at an impressive 560 CFM of air flow, it has sufficient power to purify large open areas or multiple adjacent rooms under 2000 sq. ft.
The variable speed control allows AirPura V600 users to set the optimal air flow in various air cleaning or operating conditions.
The factory balanced one piece Motor/Fan assembly helps minimize the associated vibration and noise.
The level of noise on Low setting at a mere 28 dB (at 6 foot distance) qualifies AirPura V600 as whisper quiet unit.
In line with the AirPura chemically inert concept, the electric motor, wiring and electric components are isolated in a separate chamber at the top section of the unit. This advantageous AirPura design guarantees that purified air doesn't get in contact with the air purifier components prevents its re-contamination.
