Large Long-Lasting True HEPA Filter

Austin Air Bedroom Machine is equipped with Large Long lasting True HEPA filter, similar to the HEPA filter used in other 400 series Austin Air purifiers. It has a guaranteed rate of 99.97% in removal of all sub-micron particulates down to 0.3 micron including:

• mold spores, plant spores, pollen
• house dust mites and debris
• pet dander, bird feather dust
• asbestos dust, ground talc,
• microscopic particles in tobacco, wildfire smoke
• smoke from wood burning stove and furnace
• particles in VOG (volcanic Smog)

and other microscopic solid airborne contaminants.
Large amount of HEPA filter media (60 sq. ft.) ensures substantial filtration capacity and a long lifetime.

Chemical and Odor Filters

The Chemical an Odor filter in Austin Air Bedroom Machine consists of:

• carbon filter canister filed with 15 lbs. of Specialty enhanced Superblend similar to Austin Air HealthMate Plus
• Lightweight Cloth-embed Dust carbon HEGA - similar to the one used in Austin Air Allergy Machine.

PermaFilter Pre-Filter

Standard Polyester Pre-filter (the first stage of the air filtration system) stops large dust, dirt, hair and lint. It plays an important role of protecting fine True HEPA filter from fast contamination and helps extend its lifespan.
Installed right behind the perforated metal grill of Polluted air intake, PermaFilt pre-filter can be vacuumed right through the metal mesh and quickly and easily replaced at a minimal cost when gets dirty or ruined.
PermaFilt pre-filter is available in two colors:

• Black for units in Black and Midnight Blue colors
• White for units in Sandstone and White colors

The Free Pre-filter of a matching color is included with each new filter assembly.

Motor Fan Assembly

The same powerful and quiet split capacitor motor with backward impeller - fan is used in Austin Air Bedroom Machine to move large volume of air through the air filtration system. Rated at 400 CFM (open air) it makes Austin Air Bedroom Machine powerful enough for cleaning air in one large open area or several adjacent rooms up to 1500 sq. ft. @ 2 ACH (air changes per hour) with 8 foot high ceiling.
The 3-Speed control allows the user to set the unit at an optimal air flow from a Whisper Quiet on Low to Most powerful filtration on High.
The motor is run-tested for a long continuous operation at high RPM and for a long lifetime.
